Refreshing Mojave green turquoise comes from the Kingman Mine in Arizona. Claudia Peina's Maiden or Maiden Grandmother's whorled hair is cleanly incised. A fringed sash is etched and filled with jet paste, accented with turquoise. The rest of her traditional clothing including a naja or crescent symbol necklace is adorned with red coral, pen shell and turquoise. She stands in power at approximately 3 3/4" tall, 1 3/8" wide and 1" deep.
